Robert Spearing

Bob Spearing is MUFON Director of International Development. He graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Communications, majoring in Journalism and Film Production. He retired from the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey after 34 years, where he served in various roles including Rail Traffic Controller, Locomotive Engineer, Safety Investigator, and Contract Administrator. Bob joined MUFON in 2014 as a Field Investigator and has served as National Director for Spain and India, leading MUFON’s Special Assignment Team. He has been involved in various special projects including MARRS, the Pine Bush UFO Museum, the MUFON Observer Network, and the MUFON UFO Map App. Bob has published numerous articles in various UFO-related magazines and appeared in television series such as "UFOs: The Lost Evidence" and "Ancient Aliens." He is a lifelong UFO enthusiast and has had two Ball of Light sightings, focusing his expertise on that phenomenon. He lives in the Pocono Mountains with his wife and twin boys.
